I started quilting during the summer of 2005.  It was during summer break and I needed a hobby, I was teaching third grade at the time.  I looked into classes at a local quilt shop and jumped in with both feet. I loved my class, my teacher, it was great! However, when I picked my first quilt...it was...what you would say CRAZY for a beginner. (Mainly I was mesmerized by the fat quarter bundle staring at me at the quilt shop.) That quilt still to this day is unfinished.  I completely lost interest in quilting due to the pattern's complexity and thought who in the world quilts for "fun".

Fast forward to 2007.  I was newly married, living in a new state, and no longer teaching. I had a 9 to 5 desk job and again looking for a hobby. I started looking online for some inspiration when I stumbled across Camille Roskelley's blog with the cutest and dare I say "fun" looking quilts. I started thinking I had called curtains on quilting a little too soon and decided to give it another try.  Since then I've made at least a dozen or more quilts for my family and dear friends. I've even been blessed to design a few quilt patterns for the Moda Bake Shop.  Here are the quilts I've made and remembered to photograph.
