A Full Shop + More to Come!

Well, Believe has come and gone and it was a sparkling success! Thanks to you who came out and said hi and thanks to all those I met! I couldn't believe the crowd and I was one busy girl.

I sold out of most of my stock the first night, which was a total surprise! My banners were cleaned out before I could blink. However, I will have some up in the shop in the next week or two. (Definitely before Thanksgiving. Lots of sad faces when I said they were sold out. ) Here is one lone banner leftover from the boutique, you can find it here.

My advents were also gone in a flash. I was hoping to bring home a couple for the shop and had one lone Christmas Advent left, I made 15, and I listed it this morning and it was gone in 5 minutes.

There are two Thanksgiving Advents left and they are listed here.

So what's left?

Well like with all Craft Boutiques, some things sell and some don't.  I have some owl totes left.  Remember these cute guys?! It's been while since they've been in the shop and I am happy they're back. They really are fun to make.

Then there's the quilts. I actually sold one quilt at the boutique, my favorite one. It was a chevron quilt made from my last orphaned Bliss charm pack. It was another fun project, my first time working with Minky.  Will definitely be making more baby quilts with Minky. I was smart and at least snapped one photo.

There are four quilts left and they are listed in the shop. I love the aqua herringbone.

Then there's the stockings. These were a big hit in the shop two Christmases ago and I am happy to introduce a gray color to the mix. These are available now and I can personalize with whatever letters you need.

So there you go! That's what's left from the last four months of sewing/crafting and staying up way too late. It was a great weekend but now it's back to reality. What's first on my list? Really cleaning my house and potty training a two-year old. Wish me luck!

I've Been Cleaning and Updating My Shop

In preparation for the coming months,  I've been tidying and dusting off all my listings over at my Etsy shop. The big push was Etsy releasing a new feature to offer digital files as an instant download. So as of tonight, all my PDF listings now offer that feature. So what does that mean? It means that you no longer have to wait for me to email out your patterns! Yay! Once your payment has cleared you will receive an email from Etsy with a link to download your file(s). Talk about sweet! (You can tell if a listing is available via download by looking for the features circled in pink.)

So what is coming in the coming months? Lots. I promise. In the meantime, I am making lists, crossing things off, planning, and of course - most importantly - sewing!

Halloween Quiet Book Pattern & Kits

It is Wednesday and I have some Halloween Quiet Book kits all ready and listed in the shop. I've also updated the pattern with two new pages and some fresh fabrics.

Ghost softie page and witch page

These are the two new pages. The page on the left is a pocket that holds pumpkin face pieces. The page on the right is a pumpkin that can be 'carved' with the face pieces.

Removeable spider page and pumpkin with finger puppet page.
The spider has poseable legs.

This includes everything to make the quiet book!

Or you can get just the pattern. Use your own fabrics and trims to make it truly one of a kind!

Happy Wednedsay...and Happy Halloween Crafting,

LeAnne

What I've Been Up To: Giving a Facelift to...

...this little Halloween goodie.

 The 'original' was made way back in 2009. {Why does that seem like just yesterday?}

Loved it then, love it now. However, it needed a little facelift. So last week I whipped up a new one. New fabrics and a couple new pages. Perfect.

Then I got the crazy idea to make some kits. So over the weekend I took this box of Halloween goodness and assembled some kits.

The updated pattern and kits on track to be listed by Wednesday.

Happy Monday,

LeAnne

shop talk

I have a couple of things to share that are going on over in the shop....

Edit to add: As of March 3rd, I am SOLD out of all my English lettering kits. Sorry! I do have a few kits left in Spanish. If you would like more information, please see this post for details. Scroll down to 'kit update'.

Thanks!

FULL kits for the colors quiet book are in stock! Yay! I've listed all the kits, so if the listing says 'sold out' I am sold out.
FYI #1: I only have FULL kits available right now. I don't have any 'just' lettering kits. Unless you want them in Spanish.
FYI #2: I am 99.9% certain I won't be offering lettering kits/full kits in the future. I've made my share of these kits over the last two years and am ready for some new projects for the shop. I may occasionally offer a handful of the kits but they will no longer be a regular item in the shop. Sorry! :)

After much deliberation, I've decided to offer my Owl Tote pattern for limited commercial use. I've been offering this option for a couple of weeks and so far it has gone well. The terms for commercial use are pretty typical; no mass production, redistribution, and you have to credit the design to me. To check out the full details check out the listing in the shop. (If you've purchased the pattern in the past, and would like to make these totes to sell e-mail me and we will work it out.)

I'm cleaning  out my fabric stash and listed the fabrics in the shop. Hope they can find a happy new home! I will be adding more fabric throughout the week.

Let me know if you have any questions! I hope everyone has a fantastic Monday.

my Colors Lettering Kits Are Back

Yay! The long awaited day. I have oodles of my Colors Lettering Kits that are waiting to be made into fun little books. :) If you missed the tutorial, you can find it here.

You can now purchase the lettering kits in two ways:
1. Through my Etsy shop...as always. EDIT: If the kits are sold out, I probably just haven't checked my shop to relist more. Also if you need multiple kits but the quantity is not available, just email or convo me and I can setup a reserved listing for you.

2. Through my blog! I am experimenting with PayPal checkout on my blog so if you don't have an Etsy account and just want to pay via PayPal....I just made it easier for you.

To do this just go to the Pattern & Kit Shop by clicking on the button at the top of my right sidebar. (Or the one above.) It will take you to a page with the items I have available here on my blog to purchase. (I eventually will be adding most of my patterns.) Then click on the item you'd like and find the 'Add to Cart' button. Then it will take you to a PayPal punchout. Easy peasy.

If you have any questions, just let me know. I have some fun things in the works for you all.

Hope everyone's Memorial Day was wonderful.

Take care,

LeAnne :)

Personalized Children's Totes

I have been in a tote making phase. I love totes! There is nothing like a fun new tote or purse to show off. I just need to make one for me.

A few weeks ago I showed you the Elle tote...

polka dots, pink...so cute.

Today here is the Talli tote...

I can't get enough of this fabric. Yes, you may be thinking it looks familiar.

I am loving fuchsia ruffles along the bottom.

I wanted to do the initial in a fun and different way. So the initial is on a felt medallion that hangs from one of the handles. (Is medallion the right word...I couldn't think of a better word.)

Boy ones are on the way. I promise. I just had to get the ruffles out of my system.

Thanks Everyone and More Owl Totes!

Wow! Thanks to everyone who offered to help with pattern testing. Like I said, patterns will be ready throughout the year. But I hope to have a few for you within the next 6 weeks. I will be in touch with you all. You all are wonderful!!!

Here are the last of the Owl Totes...I told you I made a lot...

Gracie...one of my new favs.

Hibiscus is returning...love the red.

Ivy, a little sassy with those fuchsia wings don't you think?

Stripey is returning too.

Finally, here is a sneak peak of the next new thing I am working on.

New Owl Totes and Looking for Help....

Finally!!! Owl Totes have arrived. This new flock will be listed over the next few days in the shop. Go check out some old favorites and some new owl tote designs! I've decided to start 'naming' the owl totes because 'Gracie' just sounds better than Aqua Owl Tote with Chocolate Brown flowers.
Leading the flock is new comer, Summer. I love this one.

Oliver is back, formerly known as 'I Love Owls'.

My personal fav is back....now known as Dot.

Bloom has returned too, made with the ever popular Carnival Bloom fabric by MM.

Last, but not least in this group is Polka Dot. Got left behind from Valentine's but still a great everyday Owl Tote.

Snowy the Owl, aka the Hedwig Tote, will be arriving in a few weeks. I have a few all cut out and ready to sew. But after making about a dozen totes over the last week, I need a little break from Owl Totes.

Oh. I know I didn't post a tutorial in February. I have a great one coming up for March, so I think that will more than make up for a lack of one.

The looking for help part.
I have plans for SEVERAL new patterns to be released over the year. I know I will need some pattern testers. If you are interested, please leave a comment below. (Make sure there is a way for me to contact you from the comment.) I will need you to, of course, test the pattern and get back to me with feedback. You will have about 2 - 3 weeks to make the item depending on the pattern. Depending on how many show interest, I may or may not be able to choose you all.

Thanks for reading,

LeAnne :)
